1. About Smidgio

Smidgio ("the Service") is a personalized audio companion operated by Runaq.ai ("we", "us", "our"), a company based in Washington State, USA. The Service delivers podcast episodes tailored to your interests and communication style via WhatsApp, a web portal, and a personal RSS feed.

2. Beta Program

Parts of Smidgio are still in beta. During this period:

  • Features may change, be added, or removed without notice
  • Service availability is not guaranteed
  • We may limit the number of participants

2a. Plans and Billing

Smidgio offers a Free plan and a paid Pro subscription. On the Free plan you receive episodes on a limited weekly schedule. Pro adds daily delivery and longer episodes.

Pro is a paid, automatically renewing subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, and you continue to be charged until you cancel. The current price and billing period are shown to you before you subscribe.

You can cancel at any time by asking the assistant on WhatsApp or through the Stripe billing portal linked from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for. You may also pause your subscription, subject to a limit on the number of pauses per year.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Smidgio. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to agree to these terms.

4. Your Account

Your Smidgio profile is linked to your WhatsApp phone number. Your web portal can also be accessed with your email address, using either a password you set or a single-use sign-in link sent to that address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your phone, your WhatsApp account, and your portal credentials. We are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to protect them.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or abuse the Service
  • Send automated or bulk messages to Smidgio
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
  • Attempt to extract or scrape content for redistribution

6. Content and Intellectual Property

Episodes generated by Smidgio are created using AI and curated content sources, and are narrated with a synthetic, computer-generated voice rather than a human recording. When you chat with Smidgio on WhatsApp, you are talking to an AI assistant, not a person. All generated audio content is provided for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not redistribute, resell, or publicly broadcast Smidgio episodes without our written permission.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and, for consumer health data, our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. Together they describe what we collect, how we use and protect it, and your rights, including deletion and data export.

8. Service Availability

We aim to deliver your episodes reliably on your plan's schedule, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Episodes may be delayed or unavailable due to technical issues, maintenance, third-party outages (including WhatsApp), or factors beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Runaq.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.

Smidgio content is generated by AI and is for informational and entertainment purposes only. It does not constitute professional advice (medical, financial, legal, or otherwise). Always consult qualified professionals for important decisions.

10. Termination

You may stop using Smidgio at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, send "delete my data" to Smidgio via WhatsApp. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via WhatsApp or the web portal. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington State, USA, and you and Runaq.ai consent to their jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction whose law grants you mandatory rights or a mandatory forum, nothing in this section takes those away.
